Here we come Central America 2016

So this winter we are heading to Central America with the first stop being San Jose,Costa Rica. Got a really good deal with https://www.spirit.com/. Sometimes they have great deal. A friend from Elmira told me about them. Our flight for both of us one way with tax and a checked bag was $144 us.

May be staying with a couchsurfer in San Jose the first night before we grab the bus.We will be doing some couchsurfing if it works out. If you haven't heard of this look here https://www.couchsurfing.com.

We will be heading south east to the Caribbean side via Limon and Puerto Viejo and on to the Gandoca Natural Reserve http://costarica.com/attractions/gandoca-manzanillo-national-wildlife-refuge/ to look at a house for sale http://www.viviun.com/AD-208551/ and explore an idea to develop a turtle rescue operation. More a pipe dream than anything else but gives a good purpose and excuse to go this far south and maybe jump on over to Boca Town in Panama .www.bocasdeltoro.com

We have our bus tickets from San Jose to Managua, Nicaragua. You have to show how you are going to exit when you enter Costa Rica plus Spirit Air checks so they don't get fined.

Thats the first leg of the journey. The plan as of now is to head to Nicaragua then through El Salvador and end up in San Pedro, Lake Atitlan,in Guatemala for the month of February and on to Mexico City and Cancun to fly home some time in late March.
