Hot as Hell but Feeling Better

Plane ride was uneventful. Delayed out of Niagara but to be expected.Ended up in San Jose and caught the bus downtown for a total of $2 compared to taxi $30. We have decided to take more taxis. They are cheap here and we are older,besides I don't have strangers to argue with on fb much but I get some exercise with taxi drivers.

We were both congested and extremely tired, felt like shit. Slept most of the afternoon on arrival. Think that helped.

Thought I had booked a room close to the terminal for bus to Manzanillo but the internet was wrong, they moved 3 tears ago. After our second taxi ride we got to the right terminal and fortunately got tickets for the 5.5 hour ride that took 7hours (road construction). I thought back to the smoking days and would have figures the 15 minute stops a bonus. Thought of our friend Cheryl and how we would have seen the silver lining.

We are now in Manazanillo at the same hostel as last time here. Hasn't changed much just more expensive, $30/ talked down from 40.

Our room in SJ was $20/ and we found out later a gay guy was murderer there a week earlier.

Off to see the house tomorrow and then on to Boca Town
