Scam 2 and 3

Number2 The old bait and switch. This consists of selling you a ticket for a bus train etc that they may or maynot have then figure it out on the fly ending up with no sleeper for 4 hours and sitting on the floor.
Number 3 Got in a taxi to go to the train station to buy a ticket for half the price offered by the hotel I was at.
On arrival I am fumbling around to find the fair to pay looking for 140000 dong when buddy reaches in my wallet a pulls out a 500000 dong note( about $25 dollars) and says he will make change.I think thats good need small bills anyway. Get out of the taxi he is counting out money then very couteously moves me from the passenger side of the car to the driver sideso I dont get hit. He then stands by his drivers door hands ne a stack of money jumps in his car and peals off. As i fumble with my glasses and count it seems that I have been a victim of Vietnamese math. Im out about 140000 dong but what he did give was real money and in small bills.So all in all for the same total cost from my hotel, I could have paid the same. I am going to have to get a little more vigilant.
