heard rumours that the Chinese may close Tibet Feb 20. That would be a bummer. I think those rumours occur every year. They usually close Tibet for March. Not sure if the Tibetans are in agreement. Maybe in ten years when China has fractured there will be a Free Tibet.
Going to arrange for a ticket to Vietnam.I have heard you can buy a hop on hop off ticket in vt. Tbat would be nice. Can stay somewhere if I get tired of bussing it. Starting in Saigon, then Dalat, Danang,Hue, Huang, Halong Bay, Hanoi and on to China. This is probably too ambitious.
Just finished a nice chicken curry. Wanted the cambodian dish called Amok.Tbey were out so will do tonight. I will let you know how it is.
