Murphy followed me to Cambodia or Where,s Lou when you need her

So I am thinking ahead her, I got my bus ticket 2 days ago, arranged a wakeup call for 6am , checked that the restaurant down the street will be open, want to be in Phenon Phen before dark. Cats ass world by the shorts I am really prepared. Wake up 5;30 have a snooze, wake up 7;20 mad scramble pack run to the front and I am the at 7;40 waiting for pickup. No breakfast 7 hour bus ride, not the worse thing for me to miss a meal.* am no pickup. We phone (cost me a quarter)they will send some one. I sit a little farther on the terrace entrance nearer the to be more visible. Bus is scheduled to leave at 8;30. 8:30 i am still more visible on the terrace. Almost ended up in a Tuk Tuk which I thought was sent to get me but was just an enterprising driver.
Anyway the girl at the hotel counter and I decide I should walk over to the tour agency where I got my ticket.So in 32 degree heat off I go fully loaded and I think my pack has gained weight on me.On arrival the guy who sold me the ticket isnt there but no problem the owner is. The good news, the bus left on time, just one day earlier. Had the wrong date on the ticket but didnt see them the day before at 7:40 am and I was there and up. well the guy was very good about it but if Lou would have been there she would have checked the ticket and prevent the mistake. So now after a 20 minute ride on the back of a motorcycle carrying both of my packs and helping this 135 lb drive navigate traffic we got to the bus station got on a later bus left at noon and arrived in Phenom Phen in the dark. So as they say "if you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans". Out of all this I have decided in a totally unrelated mater that you should wash your dirty's the first night if your staying at the same place for more than 1 night. Don't ask me why.Managed to get a visa for Vietnam. Should be ready tomorrow. Chinese New Year starts soon and is a big holiday in China and Vietnam.
